What this site stores.

Match Better is built to be used privately. This page describes exactly what happens on this website. It is deliberately short, because the site does very little with your data.

The questionnaire

The ten-question assessment runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and the resulting diagnosis are held in your browser’s session storage, which means:

They are never sent to a server by this website.
They are readable only by this site, on this device, in this browser.
They are erased when you close the browser tab.

You can clear them at any time by closing the tab or clearing your browser’s site data.

Cookies and analytics

This site does no advertising and no cross-site ad targeting, and it never sells your data.

Two kinds of measurement may run here:

Cookieless analytics counts page views and which step of the questionnaire was reached. It sets no cookies and identifies nobody. It runs by default.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies, and Clarity records how a page is used so layout problems can be found. These run only if you press Accept on the consent bar. If you decline, or if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, they are never loaded at all.

What recording never captures. The questionnaire, your answers, your diagnosis, the checkout view and every input field are masked before anything is sent. Typing is never recorded. Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation, and with advertising signals and ad personalisation switched off.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which removes the stored choice and asks again.

Fonts and third parties

Fonts are served from this site itself, not from a third-party font provider, so no request for a typeface reveals your visit to anyone else. The only third-party scripts are the analytics tools described above, and the cookie-based ones load only with your consent.

What the funnel measurement records

Where measurement is running, it records which step of the questionnaire was reached and which option was chosen from the fixed list of answers. It never records your email address, and it never records anything you type. It is disabled automatically if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Your account and the coach

Creating an account and using the AI coach happen on a separate application, not on this marketing site. When you follow a link to sign in, only your chosen plan is carried across in the web address. Your questionnaire answers and diagnosis are not.

To complete before publishing: describe what the account application itself stores, how conversations with the coach are retained and for how long, the payment provider once billing is connected, and the contact address for privacy requests.

Screenshots you choose to share

Always redact names, photographs and identifying details before sharing any conversation screenshot. Only the context needed to help you is ever required.

Independence

Match Better is an independent education and coaching product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Bumble or Hinge, and it never asks for, stores or uses your dating-app password.
